In Italy sons of '80s have seen the first computer labs and its PCs in junior high schools blooming. Just in time for Dyna Blaster for PC (1992), which copies spreaded so fast that nobody actually followed any lesson from that day to the next 5 years.

Time to celebrate old good times with a new game, which tries the 'random stages' way in Wright! and tributes Giovanni La Scala, a friend of mine, which had any sort of adventure implementing a clone in C++/SDL: time to play Bomberjoe!

Mandatory plot!

The evil doctor Bomb caged you, one of his latest creation, in a training maze in order to collect behaviour data. Is there an exit? Probably: hidden behind the walls there is a door to the next floor, that will open once all the enemies are defeated! Bomb everything, collect bonuses and win! Move with UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT and place a new bomb with the A BUTTON.

PS: 3 years later I've added the truly iconic game mode to this game: the 2 players battle that killed most of 90s friendships. I take this opportunity to quote another long time Bomberman sparring partner I had during the Dynablaster PC days, that used to win every time: thank you, Le Hoai Nam!
