At my workplace many colleagues of mine are younger than me and it's not so rare hearing them humming the so famous Puzzle Bobble (1994) ingame theme. Sometime I still hear the song used as ringtone around Milan.
As a passionate gamer I use the let's talk about the game which song you're singing as topic for breaking the ice, especially with new colleagues - and the dialogue that comes up is usually pretty pleasant.

It's mostly about hot summers, seasides, coins wasted in an arcade machine, playing with friends and girlfriends, getting angry, growing some sort of addiction for the music, the gameplay, the challenge, the hi-score race.
From time to time the everybody used to discriminate me as a weird nerd, as videogame player clichè still pops out, despite it's becoming less and less belivable - thanks, Gods!
The magic of building emphaty with a total stranger starts building, until...

He: 'Well. Bubble Bobble was a true classic, isn't it?'

You: 'Oh, you were talking about that game? Yeah, that was an hard platformer too, Isn't it?'

He: '...a platformer? '

Welcome to the new millennium, mr. gamer of the 80s-90s, where your Bubble Bobble (1986) t-shirt has a typo in it, the infectious theme you are humming is wrong and even the game genre you're thinking is not right.

Taito surely ported the most recognizable features of its platformer to the puzzle game spinoff. And they managed to do that in a such great and natural way that two people can talk about the two different games for some time without noticing!

Plot!

Starcat, it's the time for you for popping some more bubbles! Use your Bubble Thrower and build groups of 3 or more bubbles of the same color to make them diseappear! Clear the stage to go to the next one! But... wait! Why there are sprites from other Wright! Magazine games inside the bubbles? Who cares!

Use LEFT/RIGHT for aiming with the Bubble Thrower and the A BUTTON for firing. Well... I've to explain the game for real? It's... just the classic game... That one in which you've to clear the stage popping the bubbles with enemies in it...
